Welcome to the Fourth Annual Target Awards! This tradition has been very successful, as it provides you with a great shortlist for tools you need. The awards reflect real-world tools, from professional vendors that have proven their product quality, marketing and support are of the highest levels.

The way we put the finalists together was to actually research the market and find which products were used the most in each category. Those became the finalists. Then you voted for your 'faves'. Next the votes were scrubbed and double votes and votes from the IP's of the vendors were deleted. We really tried hard to come up with results as clean and real as possible. We believe that this is a better system than the "write-in" model where anyone can simply propose a tool they like. (The risk with that is that the marketing department of a small obscure outfit can go all-out and make all their customers write in and skew the votes that way).

2002 Target Award Winners
